A Day Off: Dreamy Moments in the Magic City

Last night I took the opportunity to take a break from editing to attend the "Repeated Marks" art show in Miami. I had never been to the 6th Street Container Gallery, but knew through friends it was a must.

But first, a stop in The Grove to visit with Maite and Tony (Pocket of Lollipops) for pizza, a cafecito, and a chance to play with their bunnies. They had just gotten a new one that I hadn't met yet.

So I didn't take too many pictures at the art show. I was too busy enjoying the art and the scenery! A beautiful courtyard with creeping vines dangling over Italian style strung lights provided a lovely ambiance for the evening.

With a mounting list of "to-do's," I've had to take some time away from my morning beach walks. It's been a couple weeks and while I've got plenty of editing to do today, I just couldn't ignore taking a moment to recharge my creative batteries.

Apparently many others had this same plan as the beach was quite busy, even before the sun was up.
